Zero at the Bone

Zero at the Bone - Jane Seville Well what can I say except I had really high expectations for this book. It had rated well on a lot of the polls and sounded right up my alley. Unfortunately it let me down. First off D's speech just irritated me (was this book trying to imitate the speech from Brokeback Mountain - I did wonder with one of the main characters being called Jack.). I did think the start was fine, but then the whole book descended into sappiness. Now I love a good romance novel, with action thrown in, but I wouldn't recommend this book as I have definitely read a lot better. I did read it to the end hoping it would get better, but sadly it didn't.
